George Lee School is hosting a book swap on Monday, May 27th. This is a great opportunity for students to trade in some books that they have already read and pick out some “new” books that interest them!
HOW IT WORKS
From May 21st through May 24th, students may bring in gently used books. Each book that is brought will count for 1 trade at the swap. (Maximum book trade is 10: 5 books the first round and 5 at the end of the day). You must bring books that you would like to trade for (eg. picture book for picture book, novel for novel). Swap books are to be handed in to classroom teachers.
- Books must be gently used condition – cover on, no rips, tears, bent edges, stains, coloring, or writing on them
- Coloring books, activity books, sticker books, and board books will not be accepted
- Children’s through Young Adult reading level
GIFT OF READING
Let’s give all George Lee students the chance to get some “new” books! Do you have extra books that you want to get rid of, but aren’t using for the swap, please give another student the gift reading and donate them.
