For the month of February, George Lee School students are encouraged to take on the "For the Love of Reading Challenge". Students who participate will receive a reading log with 5 book challenges that they must complete and have signed by a parent or teacher. If students are reading a chapter book they may use one book title for two categories on a card. Reading with a parent/guardian/sibling to complete challenges can be counted.
When a challenge card is completed, they can be placed in the draw box in the school library for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Chapters. There will also be runners up prizes. New reading challenge cards can be picked up in the library, once one is completed, or you can click here to print off a new one for yourself.
Good luck on the challenges, as you experience the love of reading through sharing new books with family and friends!
